This remarkable historic house needs your help today!

Built c.1716 for Capt. Archibald Macpheadris, the Warner House was the home of six generations of extended family. In the early 1930s, the property was for sale, and an oil company had plans to raze the house for a gas station. The newly-organized Warner House Association purchased the historic property in March 1932, saving it from demolition. That summer, the house opened to the public as a museum.

The Warner House is designated as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior and operates as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation.
